Course Synopsis :

This course prepares students to understand pathophysiology and biochemical changes in relation to Chemical Pathology Laboratory data that are associated with pathological conditions. It enhances skills in interpreting Chemical Pathology Laboratory data, identifying abnormalities in organ function, recognizing the need to perform specialized tests as well as emphasizing laboratory management. The course also focuses on managing errors in laboratory data analysis and reporting as well as correlating biochemical changes with organ function for accurate laboratory data interpretation.

MLO 1 Explain the basic concept- central dogma of biology, regulation genes, types of RNA as well as different transcriptomic technologies such as qPCR, microarray, single cell RNA sequencing single, spatial RNA sequencing etc.
MLO 2 Explain the concept of transcriptomic applications and know how to design transcriptomic experiments in the context of disease humans (eg qPCR to detect infectious disease or sequencing to detect biomarkers)

Module Synopsis : This module aims to discuss important topics related to hydrogen fuel cell systems for electrification of related sectors. At an early stage, fuel cell concepts, process and their theories will be discussed and linked to the fuel cell system. Stack design, performance analysis, water and heat management, control and monitoring as well as fuel cell operating conditions are also described extensively in this course to enable students to understand various aspects of fuel cell process system engineering. Current problems and issues in the fuel cell system are discussed by combining various disciplines to help students to make critical evaluation and explanations on a specific fuel cell system.
