Module Synopsis

This module introduces students to the basic concepts of Marketing, the importance of strategic planning and elements in the marketing environment.

Module Learning Outcomes

MLO 1	Explain the basic concept- central dogma of biology, regulation genes, types of RNA as well as different transcriptomic technologies such as qPCR, microarray, single cell RNA sequencing single, spatial RNA sequencing etc.
MLO 2	Explain the concept of transcriptomic applications and know how to design transcriptomic experiments in the context of disease humans (eg qPCR to detect infectious disease or sequencing to detect biomarkers)
